Susan J. Vandegrift was born in Philadelphia. She graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Literature and Philosophy in 1983. In 1986, Ms. Vandegrift earned her J.D. from Temple University School of Law. She completed an LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law in 1997.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Vandegrift served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul W. Tressler in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas and later, as an Assistant Public Defender in Montgomery County.
Since 1989, Ms. Vandegrift has been engaged in the practice of civil litigation, primarily in Montgomery County, Chester County, and Berks County. Her current areas of concentration include
litigation
and
family law.
